Nathaniel J. Ratcliff, Ph.D.
Nathaniel J. Ratcliff was born in the small town of Chillicothe, Ohio in the winter of 1986. He began his writing career in high school by writing poetry for local library anthologies. From 2005 to 2009, he attended Miami University (of Ohio) and majored in psychology and political science before pursuing a Ph.D. in social psychology at The Pennsylvania State University, graduating in 2016.To date, his psychological research has yielded several peer-reviewed journal articles covering topics of memory, social power, leadership, and organizational behavior. Currently, Nathaniel works as a research psychologist, or data storyteller, at the University of Virginia in the United States. He resides in Springfield, Virginia with his wife, Shana, who is finishing her degree in child clinical psychology.
